The Thaps is a family. A boy named Beseg Thap was born in Aitsasho during the Spring of 1258. He is a Gekist Lord of Aitsasho and farmer. Then, he converted to Gekism.

Beseg and a woman named Itsebash Ami were married during the Spring of 1323. She was a Gekist farmer.

During the Spring of 1362, Beseg became Lord of Aitsasho.
