The Ekmiats is a family. A boy named Iakepob Ekmiat was born in Aitsasho during the Spring of 1108. He was a Gekist farmer.

During the Spring of 1115, Iakepob converted to Gekism.

Iakepob died from an illness during the Summer of 1189. He was 81 years old.
