The Bounys is a family. A girl named Rune Bouny was born in Kraikoust during the Spring of 965. She was a Gekist blacksmith.

During the Autumn of 967, Rune converted to Gekism.

Rune died from an illness during the Winter of 1113. As a result, Simbi's and her relationship ended. In Ptiksaint Thrink, she was 149 years old.
