During the Autumn of 1283, at the age of 78, Nkaiga began a relationship with a woman named Nkisebi Sakme, who was 88. Nkisebi was a Gekist farmer. Nkisebi's and Nkaiga's relationship ended 2 years later.

During the Summer of 1284, Nkaiga adopted her daughter Lag Biamek with Nkisebi. Nkaiga's daughter was a Gekist farmer. Nkisebi's and Nkaiga's relationship ended next Summer.

During the Winter of 1288, Nkaiga fell ill. Then, she died from an illness. She was 84 years old.
