During the Spring of 877, at the age of 65, Flamzen began a relationship with a woman named Penge Ngethet, who was 53. She was a Ogsist Queen of Obdab, Lady of Obdab, Lady of Krirat, Lady of Kenkase and merchant. His and her relationship ended 6 years later, when he divorced her.

During the Spring of 879, Flamzen was married with Penge. He adopted his daughter Mairo Ngethet with Penge that Summer. His daughter was a Ogsist Queen of Obdab, Lady of Obdab, Lady of Krirat, Lady of Kenkase and criminal.
