During the Autumn of 418, at the age of 50, Otse began a relationship with a man named Ivale Thum, who was 42. He was a Ogsist warrior. Her and his relationship ended 37 years later, when he died from an illness.

During the Spring of 425, Otse settled in Krirat. She adopted her son Doksesh Thum with Ivale in Krirat that Summer. Her son was a Ogsist warrior. Next Summer, she converted to Ogsism.

Otse adopted her daughter Mbogi Thum with Ivale during the Autumn of 430. Otse's daughter was a Ogsist farmer.

During the Winter of 455, Otse's and Ivale's relationship ended, when he died from an illness.
