He was a Gekist blacksmith. That Spring, his daughter converted to Gekism. Ngeny's father Daimitsa Shaikrial was born that Summer. Her father was a Gekist farmer. Her grandmother Nkonka Shaikrial and Ngeny's grandmother Nekmig Tsevavia adopted Ngeny's father. Then, Ngeny's father converted to it.
